Abstract
[Russian-speaking Orthodox churches in Italy] The action undertaken by the patriarch of Constantinople to bestow the Tomo of autocephaly at Ukrainian Orthodox Church, produced side effects in the organization of the Russian-speaking communities in Western Europe, with a centralization of the ecumenical patriarchate.
The response from the patriarch of Moscow was aimed at restoring the metropolis of Korsun and Western Europe, with jurisdiction over the parishes in Italy.
