Abstract
The author examines Paul’s texts ascribable to the comment to the clause quibus ex causis vadimonia recuperatoribus suppositis fiant of the edictal title de vadimoniis, to demonstrate how the Krüger order is preferable in the reconstruction of Paul’s seventh book ad edictum.
