Abstract
This review aims to analyze the main plot lines developed by Professor Lourdes de la Torre Martínez in her latest monograph. In particular, the reading of her work makes it possible to confirm the need to undertake the elaboration of a conceptual and methodological theory with a general approach to facilitate the explanation and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
