Abstract
The article focuses on the provisions introduced by so-called New Pact on Migration and Asylum, approved by the European Parliament on 10 April 2024. Multifaceted in its composition, the Pact, among other things, is intended to introduce significant changes to the regulations on asylum, relocation, and returns. By examining a specific Regulation (so-called Procedures, Regulation 2024/1348), highlighting the desire to redefine borders as a place for filtering and classifying migrants, the resulting reshaping of the right of access to the territory will be highlighted, as well as, in particular, the numerous critical issues arising from this attempt at innovation.
