Peer Review
Except for invited articles, all manuscripts submitted to Cultura giuridica e diritto vivente for the "Articles" section—and, at the discretion of the editorial coordinators, those for the "Notes and Comments" section—undergo a double-blind peer review process. The review is conducted by one or two reviewers selected from specialists in the relevant field, either from within or outside the Scientific Board. Reviewers assess the manuscript’s alignment with the journal's scope, scholarly relevance, currency, originality, methodological quality, validity of results, and style.
Specifically, manuscripts for the "Articles" section are evaluated by two anonymous reviewers, while those for the "Notes and Comments" section are evaluated by one anonymous reviewer. Once suitability for publication is confirmed, reviewers indicate whether the manuscript should be accepted as is or if it requires revisions. Reviewers also assess the appropriateness of the article’s placement within the "Articles" or "Notes and Comments" sections, and may recommend assigning the contribution to a different section than that indicated by the Author. In the latter case, a new evaluation will be conducted according to the peer review rules of the proposed section. The Author will be promptly informed of the outcome.
Open Access Policy
All published articles are freely accessible online without subscription fees or access restrictions. The Journal does not charge Article Processing Charges (APC) or any publication fees to authors. The aim of the journal is to promote the dissemination of scholarly research in legal studies and to support the free circulation of academic knowledge at the international level.
