[The sovereignty of the person in the urban planning for religious spaces] Religious freedom contemplates the need to practice in placesof worship. Urban planning legislation and land use planning tools do not always facilitate the establishment of new structures or the opening of existing buildings. The question that arises is to understand the intensity of the guarantees that the cult exercise can enjoy compared to the limitations introduced by the public authorities. Only by redirecting the exercise of public authority towards the centrality of the human person is it possible to guarantee the functionalization of the powers exercised and the full satisfaction of the rights of the individual.
