Abstract
The author – a Camaldolese monk – shows how Sergio Quinzio has intersected his own monastic path, on the background of the Council Vatican II that has re-proposed the knowledge of the Bible as source of theology; he also highlights how Quinzio’s spirituality tries to resolve the dichotomy between internality and externality. According to Tertullianus the Flesh is pivotal of Salvation; even the rituality expressed by the post-conciliar Liturgy is an attempt to express a relationship with the sacred through corporeality.
