The Piccola Impresa/Small Business journal aims to nurture and disseminate knowledge about small businesses, hosting contributions from international scholars and serving as a place for integration and discussion between scholars with different backgrounds and different disciplinary approaches. It is an academic journal with an international focus, dedicated specifically to research and theoretical reflection on the administration and management of small businesses, their role in the economy, and the policies and regulations they face. It was founded in 1987 by the Association for the Study of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (ASPI), is accredited by AIDEA and ANVUR, and is indexed on Google Scholar.
