Abstract

La situazione di emergenza sanitaria globale nel 2020 ha chiesto ad alcune aziende di rivedere il modello di business in un contesto caratterizzato da una forte trasformazione digitale. Su questa spinta innovativa e la necessità di nuove soluzioni sono emersi nuovi attori digitali in grado di supportare la trasformazione digitale delle aziende. Questo processo è particolarmente rilevante in Italia, dove le PMI che operano nel B2B si avvicinano sempre più a queste soluzioni tecnologiche. L'obiettivo del paper è quindi quello di comprendere quali sono le principali caratteristiche del modello di business del nuovo player digitale B2B e quali sono stati i principali cambiamenti nella prospettiva dell'innovazione spinta dalla crisi. In particolare, l'attenzione è stata focalizzata sulle principali funzioni e attività degli attori digitali che possono generare valore per le PMI.
