Abstract

^{The essay analyzes the issue of increasingly frequent attacks on healthcare personnel from the perspective of health and safety at work. After having taken into account the orientation of the jurisprudence which, in relation to the risk of robbery in banks, states that the employer is obliged to take the necessary measures to prevent this risk, the author wonders about the nature of the risk of assaults in healthcare companies underlining how, unlike the risk of robbery in banks, it is often an endogenous risk that can be caused by dysfunctions in the service organization. Noting the need for a careful assessment of this risk and the adoption of adequate prevention and protection measures for workers, the author proposes to enhance for this purpose the use of organization and management models for health and safety at work.}
