Abstract

This essay examines the evolution of workplace safety in light of Law No. 76 of May 15, 2025, which implements Article 46 of the Italian Constitution by promoting worker participation in company management. The contribution focuses on organizational participation, defined as the active involvement of workers in production decisions, thereby transforming safety from a top-down mandate into a corporate "common good". Central to the analysis is the SafetyChain project, an infrastructure based on social blockchain and the Digital Wallet for Safety (DWS). This technology ensures the immutability and transparency of training and compliance data, returning the governance of professional information to the worker and establishing them as an active node in prevention. Furthermore, the study explores how the integration of SafetyChain can render Organization and Management Models (MOG) under Legislative Decree 81/2008 dynamic, optimizing the management of the so called "patente a crediti" in the construction sector through the use of smart contracts and providing employers with technically incontestable proof of compliance with due diligence obligations.
