Julies Monchanin: filosofo personalista in dialogo con il pensiero indiano

Abstract

The Lyonnais priest Jules Monchanin is a philosopher to be rediscovered and to be included among the founders of Personalism. Indeed, his philosophical reflection is characterized by a personalist idealism in which Platonic, mystical and theology philosophy converge. His speculative peculiarity, however, consists in having compared Christian personalism to Hindu impersonalism, especially in his mission’s years in India.
