Formalismo negoziale e deroghe emergenziali: il cd. testamentum tempore pestis conditum

Abstract

Starting from a constitution of Diocletian (C. 6.23.8) which granted an exception to the provision of unity of act in drafting wills to avoid the spread of contagious diseases, the authors consider the influence of emergency legislation on the formalism of legal transactions in the history of private law.
