Abstract

Analysis of Julian’s works in light of Kojève’s Julian and the Art of Writing and Kelsen’s Platonic Love. The aim is to understand the meaning of the “noble lie” in Julian’s political perspective. At the end of the essay there are considerations on the role of lies in legitimation of power.
