About the Journal

Focus and Scope

Publication of Studi Urbinati, A - Scienze giuridiche, politiche ed economiche began in 1927 and has continued regularly to the present day, except for a hiatus dating from 1941 to 1946. For this reason, it has in fact accompanied much of the contemporary history of the University of Urbino, with the consequent burden of responsibility and, at the same time, prestige that this entails. Because of this specificity, the Journal has as its primary objective that of documenting the results of scientific research elaborated in the University of Urbino, albeit in the context of a careful and constant valorization of the contribution of scholars and researchers belonging to other national and international scientific institutions. The scientific areas of competence  are represented by the disciplines included in the current Areas: 12 - Legal Sciences, 13 - Economic and Statistical Sciences, 14 - Political and Social Sciences, having as institutional reference the Department of Law (DIGIUR) and the Department of Economic, Social, Political Sciences (DESP).
The Journal, since 2023, has an annual periodicity and is regularly published both in print and, concurrently, in open-access electronic format, through the dedicated electronic Journals Uniurb platform (https://journals.uniurb.it/). The structure of the Journal consists of an Editor-in-Chief, a Scientific Committee and an Editorial Board.

Policy for Open Access

This journal offers open access to the articles, as the editorial board believe that such policy is important for the exchange and diffusion of knowledge at the global level.
