Abstract

Molodtsov introduced the concept of soft set, which can be seen and used as a new mathematical tool for dealing with uncertainty.  In this paper we introduce and initiate the study of soft ternary semihypergroups by using soft set theory.  The notions of soft ternary semihypergroups, soft ternary subsemihypergroups, soft left (right, lateral) hyperideals, soft hyperideals, soft quasi-hyperideals and soft bi-hyperideals are introduced, and several related properties are investigated.
