Code of Ethics

This statement is based on the COPE’s Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.

Publication Decision and Publisher’s Duties
The publication of scientific research results is a complex process that requires rigor and accuracy from all involved parties (journal director, scientific committee, editorial board, reviewers, authors).
The journal is committed to upholding and defending ethical standards at every stage of the process by adopting and promoting the standards outlined in COPE’s Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors. Moreover, the publisher promotes and oversees the use of double-blind peer review as a method for selecting articles. It encourages research independence, condemns copyright violations and plagiarism, and requires and promotes original contributions based on rigorous data. The publisher is also committed to publishing corrections for any errors found in published articles. Below a summary of our commitments and what we ask of editorial board
members, reviewers, and authors can be found.

Duties of the Editorial Board
The journal’s editorial team ensures the fairness of the systems used to evaluate, accept, or reject articles submitted by authors. Particularly, it oversees the double-blind peer review process, ensuring the mutual anonymity of reviewers and authors regarding the specific article under review. It also avoids conflicts of interest, discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, political beliefs, or geographic origin.
If serious errors, conflicts of interest, or cases of plagiarism are identified in a published article, the editorial team will issue an erratum or proceed to retract the manuscript. The journal director exercises necessary control over the journal’s content to prevent legal violations in publications.
The editorial board adheres to the journal’s editorial policies and complies with applicable laws regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The board is obligated not to disclose any information about submitted manuscripts except to the authors or those previously authorized.
Unpublished material contained in manuscripts submitted to the journal cannot be used by editorial board members for their own research without the written consent of the author.

Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers assist the journal’s editorial team in evaluating articles within the specified timeframe. Reviews must be conducted objectively, with clear and documented arguments.
Reviewers should not accept manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with authors, companies, or entities connected to the manuscript’s subject matter.
Reviewers are responsible for identifying relevant bibliographic material not cited in the work under review and suggesting improvements to the authors for publication.
Manuscripts under review must be treated as confidential documents and should not be shown or discussed with anyone not previously authorized by the editorial board.

Duties of Authors
Authors must guarantee that the submitted article is original, unpublished, and not simultaneously submitted to other journals. They must also accept the journal’s article selection process, particularly the peer review process.
Authorship cannot be modified after submission.
If the article is accepted, the author acknowledges the publisher’s right to publication. Authors must declare any potential conflicts of interest that may have influenced the manuscript’s content when submitting their contribution for evaluation. All sources of financial support for projects whose data are used in the article must be disclosed.
Authors are obligated to correctly cite sources and obtain necessary permissions for publishing images, tables, or other previously published content, as required by copyright law. Fraudulent or intentionally inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable.
Authors must ensure the accuracy of the data presented and the objectivity of their interpretations. Data must be reported accurately and in detail to allow others to replicate the research.
All individuals who have contributed to the manuscript’s preparation, seen and approved its final version, and agreed to its publication must be listed as authors.
Others who have provided substantial contributions to relevant parts of the article should be acknowledged and listed as contributors.
If an author identifies significant errors or inaccuracies in a published manuscript, they must promptly notify the editorial board and provide the necessary corrections.

Copyright and Consents
The journal allows authors to retain copyright and publishing rights to their articles without restrictions.

All journal content is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Users are free to:
-Share: Copy, distribute, and transmit the work, including public display and performance, in any medium or format.

Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest may exist when an author (or their institution), reviewer, or editorial board member has personal or financial relationships that could inappropriately influence their actions. This conflict may exist even if the individual believes such relationships do not affect them. The journal’s editorial team is responsible for managing potential conflicts of interest, and authors may be required to provide a declaration regarding such conflicts.
