Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in PDF, OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Copyright and licences: The journal supports the principles set out in the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Scholarly Knowledge (2003), as reiterated in the Italian CRUI guidelines on open-access journals.
Copyright: Authors retain all rights to the content of their texts, and the journal does not charge any fees for publication. Authors authorise the publisher to publish the texts under a CC BY-4.0 licence.
Authors may republish their work at any time and by any means elsewhere, subject to the following restrictions:
- the new publication must cite the details of the previous publication under the Urbino University Press imprint on the legal notice page, including the URL
- the new publication must not exclude or restrict the continued publication by Urbino University Press
Authors are invited, should they wish to upload files to personal and/or research websites, to indicate the publication accompanied by the abstract, the DOI code and/or the link to the issue’s homepage.

Archiving: this journal uses the OJS-native PKP PN system for the digital preservation of data. All the journal’s data and publications are also saved and archived directly on the platform.
