Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published or submitted to another journal (or an explanation is provided to the editor in the comments).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
  • Where possible, the URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text complies with the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the author guidelines, which can be found on the journal's information page.

Copyright and Licenses: The journal supports the principles set forth in the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Scholarly Literature (2003), as reaffirmed in the Italian CRUI Guidelines on Open Access Journals.

Copyright: Authors retain all rights to the content of their manuscripts, and the journal does not charge any fees for publication. Authors authorize the publisher to publish their texts under a CC BY-4.0 license. 

Authors may republish their works at any time and by any means elsewhere, subject to the following restrictions:

- The new publication must cite the details of the previous publication under the Urbino University Press imprint, including the URL, on its legal notice page

- the new publication must not exclude or limit the continued publication by Urbino University Press

Authors are encouraged, when posting files on personal and/or research websites, to include a reference to the publication along with the abstract, the DOI, and/or a link to the issue’s homepage.


Archiving: This journal uses the OJS-native PKP PN system for the digital preservation of data. All journal data and publications are also saved and archived directly on the platform.
