Abstract
The aim of this paper is to reflect on the new risks to workers' health arising from digitalisation and the use of AI systems in the workplace. Starting from the cases of accidents caused by self-driving cars undergoing testing and the onset of stress-related disorders in social media moderators, the paper examines the relevant criminal liability profiles and highlights the need to update the employer's obligations of risk assessment, training and information of workers, taking due account of the new risk factors linked to the digital revolution.
