Author Guidelines
SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION PROCEDURE
Subject Matter
Essays intended for publication in Diritto della Sicurezza sul Lavoro must primarily address topics related to workers' health and safety law, analyzed from one or more of the following perspectives: Labor Law, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Civil Procedure Law, Criminal Procedure Law, EU Law, International Law, Comparative Law, Administrative Law, Legal History.
Given the inherently interdisciplinary nature of the subject, the journal also welcomes essays examining workers' health and safety from other scientific perspectives (such as economic, statistical, sociological, medical, psychological, organizational, or engineering) provided that these essays relate to aspects addressed in legislation or jurisprudence.
Submission
Essays must be submitted exclusively by email to the Director at: paolo.pascucci@uniurb.it
Format
Essays must be submitted in electronic format and should not exceed 150,000 characters (including spaces and footnotes). Each essay must include a brief abstract in Italian and English, 6 keywords in Italian and English, and the author’s academic or professional affiliation and email address.
Bibliographic References
Footnotes should be formatted with progressively numbered footnotes at the bottom of each page, with superscript numerical references in the text. No final bibliography is required.

Preliminary Evaluation
All submitted essays, whether commissioned by the Editorial Board or proposed by authors, will undergo a preliminary review by the Editorial Board and the Editorial Committee.
Peer Review for Author-Submitted Essays
Publication of author-submitted essays is conditional upon two anonymous peer reviews conducted by members of the Scientific Committee or external experts. Essays that have undergone peer review will be clearly indicated upon publication. Reviewers must express their judgment by completing the attached peer review form. The peer review process is free of charge, and the journal’s platform archives all reviews. Essays that undergo peer review will be marked as such upon publication.
Essays in Foreign Languages
The same rules for preliminary evaluation and peer review apply to essays written in English, French, Spanish, or German. If approved, these essays will be published in their original language.
Exclusivity and Free Publication
All essays published in Diritto della Sicurezza sul Lavoro must be original and not previously or subsequently published elsewhere. Publication in the journal is free of charge.
