Nuove considerazioni in argomento di crimen repetundarum

Abstract

The crimen repetundarum in the configuration of the lex Iulia of 59 B.C. became part of the Principality's legal experience, with various interpretative grey areas deriving from the phenomenon of the extension of the original dictate and the mutilation of the sources. Hence the need for an in-depth study that would amalgamate the different lines of scholars to help delimit the scope of application of the Caesarian law and identify its direct legacy in eras subsequent to that of the Republic
