Abstract
The relation between subject and object is crucial in the philosophies of crisis at the beginning of the XX century. It has been faced so well by Th. W. Adorno in his last writings, but in order to restore dialectics through a criticism of contemporary philosophy. This article reconstructs Adorno’s argumentation, which overturns the priority of the subject in modern and contemporary philosophy which makes both of them idealistic, and sets a dialectical priority of the object. This priority can restore the object to its autonomy and does not abolish the subject, but sets the mediation between it and the object and aims at a relation between theory and praxis which can restore philosophy to its critical task und put it in the view of liberation.
