About the Journal

Italian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics (E-ISSN 2239-0227) is an Open Access international, peer-reviewed electronic journal which is devoted to high-quality and original research on subjects of pure and applied mathematics and their teaching and learning. The journal was founded in 1987 by Piergiulio Corsini, Full Professor at the Università di Udine (now retired), with the title Rivista di Matematica Pura e Applicata. In 1997 it was renamed Italian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics and from 1997 to 2025 it was published by Forum Editrice Universitaria Udinese, the university press of Università di Udine. Since 2010 Italian Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics has been published online only. Since 2026 it is published by the Urbino University Press (UUP). The journal is indexed in Scopus since 2010 and in Web of Science since 2015. The aim of the journal is to promote the scientific exchanges among pure and applied mathematicians and also other researchers coming from different fields, such as engineering, natural sciences, computer science, social sciences and many others. This journal publishes high quality researches in the fields of pure and applied mathematics with a wide range of topics including nonlinear analysis, real analysis, algebra, topology, geometry, number theory, probability, statistics, mathematics education and theoretical computer science.
