SOME SUFFICIENT CONDITIONS IMPLYING NILPOTENCY OF FINITE GROUPS

Let G be a finite group. For a weak n-Engel condition, we mean that [x,n y] ∈ Z(G) for two elements x and y of G, where n is a positive integer. In this paper, we mainly study the influence of the weak n-Engel condition on the nilpotence and p-nilpotence of finite groups. Our results generalize some well-known results.
