The present authors [23] introduced and studied the notion of weakly θI-preopen sets in ideal topological spaces. In this paper, we apply this set to introduce and study a new class of functions called contra weakly θI-precontinuous functions in ideal topological spaces. Some characterizations and several basic properties of this class of functions are obtained. Further, we introduce the notions of contra-θI-precontinuous, contra-θI-α-continuous, contra-θI-semicontinuous and contra-θI-β-continuous functions in ideal topological spaces and also establish relationships among these new classes of functions.
