Abstract

In this paper, we develop and analyze the use of the Differential transformation method (DTM) to find the semi analytical solution for high order fuzzy initial value problems (FIVPs) involving ordinary differential equations.  DTM allows for the solution of FIVPs to be calculated in the form of an infinite series by which the components will be simply computed.  Also DTM will be constructed and formulated to obtain a semi-analytical solution of high order FIVPs using the basic properties and definitions of fuzzy set theory.   Numerical example involving high order linear FIVPs was solved to illustrate the capability of DTM in this regard.  The results obtained by DTM have been compared with the exact solution in the form of figures and tables.
