Abstract

Let G be a group.  We denote by nse(G) := {mk | k ∈ πe(G)}, where πe(G) is the set of element orders of G and mk is the number of elements of order k in G.  In this paper, we characterize simple linear group L2(p) uniquely by set nse(L2(p)) when p ∈ {19, 23}.
