ON CHARACTERISTIC SUBGRAPH OF A GRAPH

A subgraph H of a graph G is called characteristic if φ(H) = H, for each automorphism φ ∈ Aut(G). In this paper, the main properties of this new concept in algebraic graph theory are presented.
