ON THE SUBGROUPS OF TORSION-FREE GROUPS WHICH ARE SUBRINGS IN EVERY RING

In this paper we study the subgroups of a torsion-free Abelian group A which are subrings in every ring over A. In particular, we get a necessary and sufficient condition for the case of rank one and rank two torsion-free groups. Moreover, we introduce the notion of SR-group and obtain some related results.
