MODIFIED (G ′/G)-EXPANSION METHOD WITH GENERALIZED RICCATI EQUATION TO THE SIXTH-ORDER BOUSSINESQ EQUATION

Abstract

In this article, abundant traveling wave solutions of the sixth-order Boussinesq equation have been obtained in a uniform way by using the alternative (G′/G)-expansion method wherein the generalized Riccati equation is used.  It is shown that the alternative (G′=G)-expansion method together with the generalized Riccati equation provides advance mathematical tool for solving nonlinear partial differential equations.  Numerical results coupled with the graphical representation explicitly reveal the complete reliability and high efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
